John Dennis, running a gorilla campaign against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D. CA), must scrimp and make effective use of his campaign funds. He is running against one of the most powerful politicians in America.
Nancy Pelosi has never won by less than 71% of the vote in her San Francisco based district. John Dennis is a businessman Republican running against her. He is very conservative. Dennis advocates a full audit of the federal reserve, alternative gold and silver contracts, and elimination of capital gains taxes on gold and silver. He has been endorsed by Barry Goldwater and Ron Paul.
The problem is he lacks funds to go against a gargantuan like Pelosi. He tried to take his campaign to the Internet by use of YouTube. One of his ads, depicting Nancy Pelosi as the wicked witch of the west, went viral there. However, YouTube has now pulled the ad based upon an alleged copyright violation asserted by EMI, the owner of the movie.
Dennis alleges the Pelosi Campaign used its influence to deprive citizens of the opportunity to watch the Pelosi parody. Here is Dennis' statement:

Dennis alleges the Pelosi Campaign used its influence to deprive citizens of the opportunity to watch the Pelosi parody. Here is Dennis' statement:
“Our attorneys have advised the campaign that the Wicked Witch of the West Video is within the bounds of the law as it constitutes “fair use” under the Supreme Court’s authoritative ruling in Campbell v. Acuff Rose Music, Inc. (1994).You can still Donate to Dennis Campaign So Ad Can Be Shown on TV by following the link.
The copyright infringement claim filed by EMI with YouTube against our video spoofing of Nancy Pelosi is sub-frivolous and politically motivated. This incident is yet another example of how Nancy Pelosi and her special interest cronies manipulate and strong arm the system for personal gain at the expense of America’s liberties and freedoms.
The 73 second light parody partially builds on music and characters from The Wizard of Oz, but was rescored within the bounds of the law. Because it appeals to a political audience and not a commercial audience, the video is no marketplace substitute for the genuine article.
EMI executives provide thousands upon thousands of donations to the Democratic Party, their candidates and Nancy Pelosi each year. Together, they are clearly collaborating to suppress free speech and limit information to the electorate to advance their special interest agenda.”
